What is a zine? Read HERE
To join the 2010 I Heart Zines exchange, please follow these guidelines.
The requirements below allow for a smooth and successful exchange.
You must write an article and a how-to project. The goal is to challenge yourself to create.
(please DO NOT submit an image-only zine) This is your chance to share what you know with your readers.
Size: Any size you want....a minimum of at least 5 folded pages = 20 sides
Binding: Any type you want. But it must have some kind of binding holding the pages together.
Title: give your zine a title.
Remember to also include your name, e-mail, or other contact information some where in the zine.
Place EACH zine in a plastic bag. It can be a zip-loc bag or a decorative plastic bag.
Commit to creating a quality zine. This is an opportunity to showcase your art, style and interests. Take time to assemble, design, create and package your zine in the best, most organized and clean way possible.
